The Safari Lodge, or fisherman's hut, is inspired by the habitats on piles that we can find in the Pacific islands. Therefore, it is a summer lodging which allows to take full advantage of nature. Suited for families with two separate sleeping areas, this Lodge is a true invitation to relaxing holidays. Its kitchenette will allow you to organize your meals with privacy independantly. In this lodge, the whole family will be able to live an unusual experience for unforgettable holidays.

In fact, this unusual stay will stick in your children's mind, offering them the chance to fulfill a dream : live in a Tree House. Our Tree House "Palombière" is family-friendly as it can welcome up to 5 people. You will all have the opportunity to enjoy a glamping stay from the top of your lodging.
In keeping with our ecological spirit, our natural bathing area fits perfectly into our estate's landscape and your holidays. The whole family will have the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing moment in full nature, in a water free of chemical treatment. We offer you the possibility to combine an original family stay with sustainable development, for an unforgettable experience.
On site, you will discover a vast meadow, where you can find facilities for hours of fun with your family. In fact, a trampoline and a volleyball net are at your disposal to the delight of the children an even adults. We loan rackets, balls and opendoor games at the reception, on simple request.
L’Escale bar invites you for refreshing breaks throughout your stay. You will find drinks and ice creams. Close to the natural bathing area, this bar invites you to discover local and/or organic products.
For an unusual evening with your family, we offer a very particular cabin : the Kota Grill. This enclosed barbecue space comes from Finland and offers a true unusual experience. Its warm interior will allow you to gather with your family around a nice barbecue, the summer inevitable meal.
Around the Estate, several lakes offer various activities. In the Hostens Estate you will have the chance to swim, walk or observe endangered species. In a Natura 2000 zone, this estate offers lots of possibilities for a family day. Close to Domaine EcÔtelia, La Prade's lake invites you for a family walk focused on fauna and flora. You will be able to follow a shaded path and stop at various pontoons in order to enjoy the natural landscape. A brasserie offers drinks and meals, if you want to fully enjoy your walk along the lake.
Domaine EcÔtelia is located 1 hour away from the Atlantic coast. We recommend to plan a day to the ocean during your stay to discover the beauty of our sandy beaches. Splendid dune landscape, the Silver Coast will make you discover another aspect of our region. Make sure to go to the Pilat Dune, a must-see of Arcachon Bay and the region.
Our local historical heritage is rich and we offer you to discover it during your glamping family stay. A few kilometers away from the Estate, trace the medieval history in Saint-Macaire, ancient Middle Ages city. Fortified castles are also inevitable, which you will be able to visit and learn a lot about the local history. We recommend the Château de Roquetaillade (only 4 kms away from the Estate) and Château Cazeneuve. These two castles are very different, inhabited and therefore well maintained. Another local jewel is the Bazas Cathedral, a key element in the charming village of Bazas.
Many activities are available around the Estate. We suggest you to go to Bommes, next to Sauternes, where you will be able to spend a sports day between Accrobranch (Climbing Trees Adventure Park) and canoe. Discover the bicycle greenways for an exceptional family day. Our bike rental partner will bring your bicycles to the Estate and pick them up when you want to.
In Sabres, The Marquèze Ecomuseum presents the lives of the local inhabitants at the time of its development. Through houses and differents workshops, board the Ecomuseum train with your family to discover our region's roots.
Every saturday morning takes place the local market in Bazas. You will find local producers but also a special atmosphere. Take the time to discover different market stalls and stores around the Cathedral place, under the arches. Market is also the opportunity to take a break during your family stay, to take the time to taste regional culinary specialties in one of the city's restaurants.
A few kilometers away from the Estate, the Pinpin & Pilou animal park welcomes you and your family to show you their dailylife. Several species are gathered in this park, for your children's pleasures. This outing is the chance to enjoy unique moments with you family,in peace.
During your stay in the Estate, we suggest you to organize a picnic in our meadow. Tables are at your disposal to gather together. From the meadow, you will have another view of the Estate and its lodgings, as well as the nature around you. An exceptional family moment.
We suggest you to discover Bazas with your children , for a playful and educational outing. The Tourist Office will give you for free a guide book to follow a trail with little games all the way. An enigma hunt with the little explorer Robin will make you and your family discover the village. Once you have resolved everything, your children will even receive a little surprise in the Tourist Office. Other trails are also available in Saint-Macaire, Langon and Verdelais to explore South Gironde's villages.
