For a winter weekend with your lover, we invite you to live an unusual experience in a Trapper's Cabin. Its rustic and warm interior will take you to a cocooning universe. The Trapper's Cabin, or "fuste" in France, is a traditional habitat of North America. It is made of wooden logs which ensure an ideal insulation during episodes of cold weather. It offers a great comfort for the hunters who trap animals during the winter time. Outside, a Nordic Bath awaits you to live an original experience. This spa comes from the nordic countries. It is used all year round, even in winter, which is the best period to enjoy it. Heated with a fire, this bath offers a woody and original bathing moment. The little extra of this bath : an unobstructed view of the meadow, for a relaxing and quiet moment in the wilderness.
In the recreation room, you will find many board games at your disposal if you want to enjoy an evening inside your lodging. We offer a wide range of 2-player-games such as Scrabble, Uno, Monopoly, Domino, Mikado, card games…
L’Escale Bar of EcÔtelia invites you to warm up around coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. You can also enjoy your drink in the relaxation room, while reading a book a playing board games. We also offer local craft beer for beers lovers.
We advise you to spare an evening to go to the restaurant in Bazas (7 kms away from Domaine EcÔtelia). You will find good restaurants on the Cathedral place. It's the opportunity to discover an ancient village at night. We suggest you to indulge yourself with the different menus.
For your unusual stay in Domaine EcÔtelia to be even more thrilling, we invite you to add the romantic option at the time of your booking. We will arrange your room before your arrival with rose petals and candles. You will therefore discover a romantic and warm atmosphere while entering your lodging. The romantic option is also available in the Luxury version if you want a bottle of champagne aside from the initial romantic option.
To give an original twist to your lovers' weekend in the Trapper's Cabin, we advise you to enjoy the Nordic Bath in the evening, after nightfall. If the sky is clear, you will be able to discover a starry sky from your hot bath.
