Our Gypsy Caravan, coming from Romania and hand carved by gypsy artisans, combine nature and authenticity. This glamping lodging offers en escapade in the countryside, in a bohemian spirit. Fully equipped, its comfort will allow you to rest when you return from your rural outings.
The natural bathing area of the Estate invites you to enjoy the natural setting during a refreshing break. There is no doubt that you will live an unusual experience in full nature.
At the back of the Estate, a meadow is opened for those of you who want to enjoy the surrounding nature and a special view of the Estate. We advise you to share a picnic on a sunny day on one of the picnic tables available. You will therefore enjoy a relaxing moment in the heart of the Gironde's nature, without leaving the Estate.
Beyond the meadow, a wide forest, belonging to the Estate, extends for the enjoyment of the walkers. We cleaned a path for you to be guided through the forest. You will discover a diversified environment and perhaps local wild animals.
The Bordeaux region is famous for its vineyards. Take advantage of your weekend in the countryside to discover the wineries and their Grands Crus. Le Château Rabaud-Promis offers you an extraordinary Sauternes. This white wine, sometimes called "Yellow Gold" is typical of the region. For those of you who want to buy local wine, we recommend the Maison du Vigneron (Winemaker's House) where enthusiasts provide good advices. Close to the Estate, you will have the surprise to discover fortified castles : Roquetaillade et Cazeneuve. They were both built by Pope Clément V, however they are very different. We invite you to go back in time and meet these astonishing castles.
In Castets-en-Dorthe, the Garonne's canal invites you for a walk along the greenway. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the landscape and the surrounding nature. For cycling lovers, we invite you to ride your bike along the canal.
La Prade's lake, a few kilometers away from Domaine EcÔtelia, offers you a natural and preserved setting. You will be able to walk around the lake. Several pontoons allow you to take a break and admire the view of the lake. Hopefully, you will have the chance to see some endangered species flying above the water.
In the heart of the Landes de Gascogne's Regional Nature Park, several artworks deserve to be discovered. They form a real cultural itinerary of the region. Through an artistic trail, you will be able to discover the Landes de Gascogne's forest and its importance in the region.
For golf lovers, we invite you to go to the Golf Course of Graves and Sauternais, Golfy member. An 18-hole course and its bodies of water await you for an open-air golf activity. This golf course, located near Bazas, will allow you to enjoy our wine region while having fun. A restaurant and a bar are at your disposal on the golf course, for a relaxing break at the end of your round.
For a stay in the countryside, what could be better than a bike ride through the paths in the wilderness ? If you didn't take your bike with you, no worries, we have the solution. You can ask to our bike rental partner who will bring your bikes to your lodgings and pick them up when you want to. You will then be able to ride on the greenways and enjoy the beautiful landscapes of South Gironde.
If you are going on a walk to La Prade's lake, we advise you to book a table in the restaurant along the lake . It's the perfect opportunity to taste a local meal while enjoying an exceptional view of the lake.
