History of the bubble dome

A Biosphere Reserve is a protected zone, recognized by UNESCO as a "control" geographic region combining preservation of biodiversity with sustainable development.

The aim is to observe the ecosystems in order to find ways to preserve them through sustainable use. The goal is to educate and increase the awareness of the public by showing that man can use biodiversity without destroying it. Sustainable development is part of the Domaine EcÔtelia's DNA since its creation. We wanted to dedicate one of our lodgings to these precious places environment-friendly and essential to our future.

The natural reserve of Fandjingshanis is situated in the Wulling mountains in China. Listed as "Biosphere Reserve" in the UNESCO World Heritage, Fandjingshan is the only ecosystem of primary forest that maintained such latitude. What better lodging than a transparent bubble dome to observe and explore the surrounding nature ?
